Regardless of the extent, complexity, viewers, or type of medium used, a successful solution comes from good planning. Cadmium Design Studios uses a wide range of research tools and practices that are custom designed to each project. In addition to the client interviews and needs assessments, we do extensive research is done on each project. This tactical approach is highly adaptable and varies with each client. We understand and believe no two projects are alike.

Design

The design aspect includes much more that the visual aspect of the website. We try to make each website distinct. Appearance is important, but it is not the only factor we take into consideration when designing websites. It is at this stage where we review our client’s branding and how it is used, their technical requirements, navigation, and content. The design phase is important and decisions made here will help to implement the project as it reflects the requirements and needs of each individual site. This approach helps the client visualize what the outcome will be and how it will work.

It is also at this phase where our customers are given their login information and they can see their website and watch as design changes are made.

Implementation

After the phases of strategy, design, planning, and content have been tackled, Cadmium Design Studios then takes these ideas, suggestions, and designs, then develops a functional website. During this phase we build the user interface and generate visual images, create databases, if needed, and develop any custom applications. It is here that our clients can watch the development of their websites. This stage is where the content is added.

Site Testing

It is here that Cadmium Design Studios performs testing of the website, making sure that all parts of our client’s site is working and compatible in the different browsers like IE, FireFox, Safari, and others. It is important that end product has met the requirements of the client and their website is available to the largest possible audience.

It is at this time any training needs to be completed and we meet with our client for a project review. Following the launch of the website, Cadmium Design Studios offers a complimentary maintenance period where we are able to address any minor problems or updates.
