While updating the owner’s software on his home computer, we started talking about a website for their store. After several meetings a final plan was in place to compile information for their internet presence. It was important to show the types of products they carried focusing on the major lines of archery equipment for hunting, the service they provided their customers, and to include a photo gallery of their annual “Big Buck Bonanza.”
Our meetings with the owner helped in the development. Not knowing much about the internet, and how it works, they told us what they wanted on their website and left the rest up to us as far as the technical and design aspects. We went to them for their expertise in archery equipment. The store and its vast array of trophy displays was one just one of the amazing aspects of their business which we thought should be seen by their virtual visitors. A 3D panoramic tour was then developed for this purpose.
A cohesive design with features both its store, its multitude products, and its people. Their website included the services they offered their customers along with information regarding the different bows that could be purchased at the store. We also wanted to highlight their specialty of building arrows for their customers. This being a specialized service it was important to let their visitors know where they can obtain these special built arrows. Reminding visitors about safety is essential, and a link to hunter education was included.
